I love this picture of me! I wish my hair wasn't eating my nose, but I don't have a time machine (or any photoshop skillz whatsoever) so this is the best I can do.
Aloha everyone!
Today's a hard today for me. I think its 'cause I want what I don't have.
Wanting what you have is the key to happiness, no? But also, having what you want, too. Right?
Abraham says, "The one who fears something the most is the one who has it most activated in their vibration. And so, it is logical that they would experience it."
So, all of my little pesky fears are bubbling up and I have to relax and remember that giving them attention will just make them grow. Like gremlins.
And not having what I want? That's just a fear-based construct that says that my timing is the most ideal and that since I don't have it NOW, I won't ever get it (fear fear fear).
But that's not true. (I feel silly as I type this).
Do you ever get stuck in wanting? How do you negotiate yourself around that corner to the other side of the pond?
ALSO PS: Is the picture above ok for my biz website?

The joys of office furniture
Hi!
So, I've been trying to be more productive.
Productivity, I tell you, is the key to success. Actually, I think its consistency, but I digress. (Was that an unintentional rhyme?! I think SO!)
Anyway, I've been pining for a new office chair for years now. My desk is *amazing*, but its a mid-century executive desk and its hard to find swivel chairs that are high enough. And you know, I'm tall like Fiona from Shrek, so it needs to have some height to it.
I want one where my thighs only have an inch or so before the top. Right now, there's at least 6 inches between the top of my thighs and the bottom of my desk-- bad for the shoulders and neck, they say. Getting a properly sized chair should help with the cramping in my shoulders and hands (trust me, i've done the ergo-research).
What do you think? It also comes in tan, and I honestly couldn't care any less about the color. I just want the comfort!
Do you sit at your desk for hours at a time? If so, do you have a trick for office-desk-comfortability? I'd love to hear your tricks and tips if you have them in the comments below!

Last weekend, Adam and I were scheduled to go to a BBQ at Kalama park to say goodbye to some friends who are moving off island.
Since we are pretty much home-bodies most of the time, Adam thought he'd look into the Oahu Revealed book to find something to do on the way to the BBQ so we could say we actually did something last weekend.
On the way there, we drove up Tantalus, a 16 mile loop above Waikiki into the mountains and jungle. It was more than spectacular; it was breathtaking.
Here is one more picture from that day.
The day before, however, we went on a little adventure to a place called Haleiwa Joe's in Kaneohe, HI. We'd been to the one on the North Shore a bunch of times, but never this one.
